Brewery to bring iconic film prop beer to life for the first time honoring newest installment of Disney’s “Alien” franchise.
Angel City Brewery proudly introduces Aspen Beer, a bright, easy-drinking blonde ale brewed to celebrate the newest installment of Walt Disney Studios' "Alien" franchise, "Alien: Romulus." Previously a fictional beer subtly featured in multiple films in the series, spotted being consumed by members of the Nostromo crew, Aspen Beer has long intrigued fans. Now, for the first time, it comes to life in its iconic packaging, featuring the original Weylan Yutani logo and winged emblem. Aspen Beer will be available on draft, for on-site consumption, at Angel City Brewery, plus a very limited run of cans to-go, starting Aug. 8. The brewery will also be on-site pouring Aspen Beer at the premiere of "Alien: Romulus" on Aug. 12, at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. For those planning to catch the film in LA, Aspen Beer will be flowing on draft at select theaters across the city.
Fans craving even more "Alien" can head to Angel City Brewery for a galactic trivia night presented by "Alien: Romulus" on Tuesday, Aug. 13, where they can sip on Aspen Beer while testing their knowledge of the franchise.
In theaters starting Aug. 16, "Alien: Romulus" takes the phenomenally successful "Alien" franchise back to its roots: While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.
