For the sixth year in a row, BBC ranked first in Tamarron Consulting’s annual survey designed to understand how distributors score supplier performance against supplier responsibilities, benchmark them against other suppliers, and find opportunities to improve the working relationship.
The annual Tamarron survey is composed of 47 performance-based questions and a company is scored based on the average results of these questions. Boston Beer Company ranked #1 in 4 of the 8 categories, including:
- Relationships & Communication
- Planning and Plan Management
- In Market Support
- On Premise Chain Accounts
The survey results are a testament to the dedication of the Boston Beer Company Sales Team. Among Boston Beer Company’s Top Distributors, BBC ranked 1st with an overall score of 4.12 (Most Often). Throughout the years, Boston Beer has never fallen below the industry average; that trend continued in 2023 as evident through this year’s results. Boston Beer Company received its highest score in the Southeast Division (4.27). Out of the 47 performance-based questions BBC ranked #1 in 18. Additionally, of the 95 Distributors that responded for Boston Beer, 24% selected BBC as their best-in-class brewer. This year’s survey commemorates Boston Beer Company’s 13th win in the past 15 years.
