Boston Beer earns a shortlist spot for the USA Keg Champion Award, powered by nationwide draft growth and consistent on‑premise excellence.

The Boston Beer Company has been shortlisted for the Steel Keg Association’s USA Keg Champion Award for Draft Growth — recognition of the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening beer and beyond on draft across the United States.

For decades, Founder and CEO Jim Koch has championed a simple principle that continues to guide the business: beer tastes better on tap. That belief fuels the draft strategy behind Samuel Adams and company’s broader portfolio — including Dogfish Head, Twisted Tea, Truly, and Angry Orchard — as Boston Beer partners with bars and restaurants to deliver trusted flagships, fresh seasonals, and consistent, dependable execution.

A core driver of this momentum is Boston Beer’s deep partnership with on-premise operations. Through training, rigorous quality standards, and hands-on support, the company works closely with teams to ensure every pint is poured as intended. This focus, proper dispense, and staff confidence keeps draft front and center and continues to move the category forward.

The Steel Keg Association will announce this year’s USA Keg Champion Award recipient at the National Restaurant Association Show this spring.

Cheers to another great year of draft with the Boston Beer on-premise team and to the great partners who make it possible.
