Beer Institute celebrates George Ward’s role in advancing the beer industry.

The Beer Institute has named George Ward, Senior Director of the Off-Premise Division at The Boston Beer Company, as one of 17 recipients of its prestigious 2025 Best in Brew Honors. This national recognition celebrates professionals across the beer industry who demonstrate exceptional performance, leadership, and dedication to advancing the sector.

“From grain to glass, these industry leaders ensure beer continues to be a cornerstone of our economy, our communities and our culture,” said president and CEO, Brian Crawford of the Beer Institute. “We are proud to celebrate the 2025 class of Best in Brew honorees, their achievements and the role they play in keeping beer vibrant and strong.”

The Best in Brew Honors is an annual program that highlights the vital contributions of employees across all tiers of the beer industry—from brewing and packaging to marketing and supply chain management. Honorees were celebrated during the Beer Institute’s Annual Membership Meeting in Washington, D.C.
